If requested, Mr. Saler will contact opposing counsel to assist in obtaining their agreement to mediate.

Hourly Fee

Mr. Saler's hourly rate varies from $425.00 to $450.00, depending upon how many counsel of record there are and whether you book a full or half day. Each side is responsible for paying an equal share of Mr. Saler's fees unless counsel agree to another financial arrangement and notify Mr. Saler in writing. Mr. Saler's billable time includes reading any briefs and other writings that counsel submit. Mr. Saler does not charge an administrative fee.

Legal counsel, not the represented parties, are retaining Mr. Saler's services and are therefore, responsible for paying his fee for the mediation services he provides. Deposit, Continuance and Cancellation Policy

Mr. Saler requires an advance deposit. The amount of the deposit varies from case to case, but is typically $1,720.00, for a half day or $3,200, for a full day.

You are strongly encouraged to carefully choose the timing for your mediation session. Mr. Saler recognizes however, the critical importance of mediating a case only when the parties and their counsel are truly ready to proceed. Sometimes, after the mediation is scheduled, something unanticipated occurs and a continuance is necessary. Mr. Saler has a liberal continuance policy as long as the matter is rescheduled for another date that is no more than sixty days in the future.

Mr. Saler will fully refund your deposit if your matter is settled or other unforeseen circumstances arise and he receives notice at least ten business days before the scheduled date of the session or hearing. If you cancel the session ten business days or less before the scheduled date, your deposit is refundable depending upon whether Mr. Saler is able to fill the cancelled time slot with another matter.
