Alan Saler launched his full-time
mediation practice in January 2003. He draws on his
considerable legal experience representing plaintiffs and
defendants in personal injury, employment, professional
liability, real estate, insurance coverage, and commercial
litigation matters to successfully resolve disputes. Those
who have used his services praise his legal analysis,
preparation, integrity, tenacity and follow up.
Upon graduating from Columbia Law
School in 1984, Mr. Saler joined Ervin, Cohen & Jessup,
where he handled complex civil litigation. In 1992, he
founded a Los Angeles branch office for a prominent New York
City civil litigation firm. During the ensuing eight years
he served as its managing partner and lead trial counsel.
Mr. Saler's spacious Valley Village
office suite is adjacent to the Laurel Canyon Blvd. exit of
the 101 Freeway. There is free parking, Internet access
and other amenities. In addition to Los Angeles, Mr. Saler
serves, and upon request, travels to San Bernardino, Orange,
Riverside, Ventura, Kern, Santa Barbara and San Diego
Counties.
Mr. Saler is a member of the
California Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. In addition to
his independent practice, Mr. Saler is on Resolute
System, Inc.'s Southern California mediation panel. An
approved continuing education provider, Mr. Saler frequently
lectures and writes about alternative dispute resolution
topics.
